The Alam Series by Dewi Dian is a collection of Pencil Illustrations. They are unique, following the method employed in Balinese traditional painting. Here, the artist explores the concept of Natures absoluteness through her renditions of animal forms, in this case the majestic Deer. Each illustration took approximately three to four weeks to complete, much like a traditional painting. It is a timely process due to the repetition several layers for each colour.
