Description
Macan dan Mawar by Wayan Suastama, 2024.
Macan dan Mawar by Wayan Suastama is exhibited in ‘Path of Time, a Returning’—a dual exhibition with fellow artist Made Duatmika at Santrian Art Gallery from January until February 2025.
This work depicts strength and gentleness, the tiger as a symbol of strength while the blooming rose is a symbol of gentleness. A contemplation of the balance of life, where every element that seems opposite needs each other to create beauty. It appears with a background of vague but dynamic figures that create a harmonious and meaningful atmosphere.
